June went by in a blur. The last three weeks of the kids being in school was packed full of events and activities, we had field trips, school-wide picnics, debate competitions, end-of-year shows, an awards ceremony, Girl Scout Bridging…and the list goes on. It took a lot of planning work schedules and kid schedules, to make sure everyone was in the right place at the right time. I skipped my look back to April since I didn’t read or blog much that month. I have Breaking Bad to thank for that, but we did finish the series and thought it was great! The end of April and beginning of May we had family visiting. I still can’t get my head around the fact that we are in April already, and 2015 is a quarter of the way done! March was all about the Pet Sematary readalong. I tried to pace myself (it isn’t officially over until April 15th) and even with a week of not reading when Mr. B. was away on business, I still managed to finish it in just a couple of weeks. At first thought, February has been pretty uneventful if you remove the weather (which has been terrible, but I’m not going to talk about that!). This is my first blog in 3 weeks. I took an unexpected and unannounced break from blogging, and didn’t even log in to check stats or draft new ideas. Happy New Year everyone!! I’m going to keep this short…Christmas and New Year were uneventful here, involving too much food, too much chocolate, not enough sleep but two very happy children!! I was spoilt too, as usual! We had a visit from the in-laws, who whisked the kids off to New York City for a night, which meant a well overdue date night for me and the hubby. I’m finishing up this post and it’s the day before Thanksgiving. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, but how did we get here? Before we know it, it will be Christmas, speaking of which I have yet to start gift shopping!! It’s snowing today as well. We had out first snow last week but that was just a dusting really. Today is November 1st, how did we get here?? Even more mind-blowing is that our baby boy will turn 6 this week, I don’t know where the time has gone! October seemed a blur. Girl Scouts started back up, Jack has joined a soccer team. Both kids have been here there and everywhere on weekends. It seems we don’t get much rest (or much reading time).
